Where Strategy Leads To Success
Titanium Chess Academy has proudly served over 20 students within the past 5 years, offering high-quality chess instruction in a supportive and structured environment. The academy offers two main learning options:
A unique aspect of Titanium Chess Academy is that instruction is intentionally small-scale and student-focused. This ensures each student receives personalized attention, clear feedback, and instruction tailored to their individual skill level and goals. The all year round sessions are $20/hr and classes are once a week for an hour long. As the academy continues to grow, this same standard of quality and individualized development will remain at the core of everything we do.
My name is Ansh Nandurbarkar, owner of Titanium Chess Academy. I am a recent graduate of Shrewsbury High School and currently study Finance and Business Analytics at Indiana University.
With seven years of competitive chess experience and extensive background teaching students in grades K–12, I bring both tournament-level insight and classroom-tested instruction to every lesson. My official USCF rating is 1769, placing me in the 92nd percentile nationally. My greatest accomplishment is a tie for 7th place in the Under-1100 section at the 2021 World Open, competing against 117 players.
More importantly, I am passionate about helping students grow not only as chess players, but as thinkers and individuals. My teaching emphasizes critical thinking, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of the learning process.
